The CEDOC Post-Doctoral Committee cordially invites you to attend the 3rd NMS Symposium on Chronic Diseases and Translational Science from 11th-13th October 2021. The Symposium aims to bring together young and established researchers from Portugal and abroad in a stimulating environment fostering both exchange and generation of new ideas.
The program will provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art of basic, translational and clinical research on chronic diseases. We aim to cover a wide diversity of approaches, from mechanistic and epidemiological studies to new therapies and diagnostic methods

Registration for the symposium is now open until October 1st.
Abstract submission is open until 3rd September.

Registration Fees: free of charge for Universities and Non-profit Research Centers.
Abstract submission
You can choose 2 types of presentations: 10-minutes oral presentation or 3-minutes flash talk.
All participants are encouraged to share their research in a 50-seconds Animated Presentation on the Symposium twitter profile.
Abstract submission guidelines:
Abstract submission is only possible via the online submission platform. The online abstract system will take you step by step through the submission process.
Upon completion of the submission process you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Make sure your abstract follows these simple rules:
1: Your abstract text should be no more than 3000 characters (including spaces and funding) and should be in English.
2: Title, authors, affiliations and keywords will be added in a separate section of the submission form.
3: Do not include references in your abstracts.
