O Grupo de Cilia Regulation and Disease do CEDOC, sito no Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, abre concurso para recrutamento de um Pós-Doutorado ao abrigo do projeto com a referência FCT-ANR/BEX-BID/0153/2012 com o título: Análise quantitativa da expressão assimétrica de genes resultantes de fluxos ciliares existentes no organizador da lateralidade embrionário, financiado por fundos nacionais através da FCT/MCTES under the following conditions:

Admission requirements:
1. Licenciatura em Biologia, Biologia Celular e Molecular ou Bioquímica.
2. Doutoramento em Biologia ou Bioquímica.
3. CV competitivo com publicações recentes
4. Experiência na execução de técnicas laboratoriais de Biologia Molecular e celular. Experiência laboratorial prévia em Biologia molecular, celular, Bioquímica.
5. Experiencia na orientação de mestrandos e técnicos de laboratório.
6. Interesse em investigação aplicada.
7. Experiencia prévia em investigação clinica seria uma vantagem.

Plan works:
1. Microinjeção de embriões transgénicos de peixe-zebra
2. FACS de células embriónicas fluorescentes
3. Extração de RNA total e produção de cDNA
4. Análise de resultados de Microarrays
5. Validação de expressão de genes por PCR Quantitativo e por técnicas de hibridação in situ.
6. Técnica de análise de proteínas por Western blot, imunofluorescência e imunohistoquímica.

Legislation and regulations:
12 months under the regime of exclusive dedication according to the Law N º. 40/2004 of 18 August (Status of Scientific Research Fellow); Grants Regulation Research Foundation for Science and Technology, IP-2012.

Workplace:
The work will be developed at the Centre for Chronic Diseases in CEDOC@IGC, Campus do Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência ,, under the scientific guidance of Doutora Susana Lopes.

Length (s) grant (s):
The Grant will have the duration of 12 months, with foreseen commencing date on May 20, 2013.

Value of monthly maintenance allowance:
The grant corresponds to 1495€ according to the table of values of grants awarded directly by FCT, IP Country (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).
