Job summary:
It is open to award 1 Research Fellowship (BI) with reference CEDOC/2013/02 PEst-OE/EQB/LA0004/2011 under the project, entitled Strategic Project - LA 4, the institution Center Study of Chronic Diseases, Faculty of Medical Sciences, New University of Lisbon, financed by national funds through the FCT / MCES (PIDDAC) under the following conditions:

Field of study:
Immunopharmacology

Admission requirements:
Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Health Sciences or related fields.

Plan works:
Use of autoimmune antibodies as markers for diagnosis and therapy Myasthenia Gravis;
Create a protein for detection of autoantibodies against the acetylcholine receptor;
Identification and characterization of cells producing the antibodies involved in the disease myasthenia gravis.

Legislation and regulations:
Law N º. 40/2004 of 18 August (Status of Scientific Research Fellow); Grants Regulation Research Foundation for Science and Technology, IP-2012.

Workplace:
The work will be developed at the Centre for Chronic Diseases in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, New University of Lisbon, under the scientific guidance of Prof.. Dr. Jose Delgado Alves.

Length (s) grant (s):
The bag will have the duration of 04 months, commencing on April 1, 2013.

Value of monthly maintenance allowance:
The grant corresponds to 745 € according to the table of values of grants awarded directly by FCT, IP Country (http://alfa.fct.mctes.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores).

Selection methods:
Selection methods to be used are the following: curriculum evaluation and interview, with the respective rating of 60/40.
