BREATHING TEST SEARCH FOR Helicobacter pylori

Helicobacter pylorii is a bacterium that infects more than half the world's population and is associated with diseases of the Bar of gastroenterology.
One method of diagnosis is the breath test with urea labeled with carbon 13 (13 C-urea) is used in which one natural isotope, stable and non-radioactive.
It is a simple, safe, noninvasive, allowing its performance in children and pregnant women, as well as its repetition without any restriction.

- Diagnosis in gastric pathologies
- Confirmation of the effectiveness of the eradication after treatment
- Prevalence studies

TEST OF RESPIRATORY LACTOSE INTOLERANCE

Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest the lactose, the result of deficiency or absence of enzyme-intestinal lactase.
This is a relatively common, associated with digestive symptoms such as abdominal cramps, diarrhea and excessive flatulence.
In this assay is measured the amount of exhaled hydrogen, which in normal circumstances is very small. After ingestion of a lactose solution, the gas produced by fermentation of intestinal bacteria is carried by the blood stream to the lungs, is excreted in expired air which can be easily quantified at regular intervals.
It is a simple, non-invasive and safe.

Protocol:
- Fasting 8-10 hours
- Duration of test 3hours
