The 1st Meeting on Vesicular Biology (MVB) will occur during February 16-17 in Coimbra Portugal.
"MVB intends to bring together scientists with expertise in different areas of proteostasis, stimulating an integrative debate around autophagy, endocytosis, intracellular trafficking, extracellular vesicles, and others. The discussion emerging in the meeting can pave the way towards innovative and disruptive strategies that cross the traditional boundaries between various topics of proteolysis and protein quality control mechanisms. In this context the “vesicle” constitutes an overarching concept that is transversal and unifies these various topics. Under this umbrella, new and unanticipated collaborations between research groups usually focused in their specific topics of interest can emerge."
