Marta Marques joins the task force with behavioral scientists to help the Government

Researcher Marta Marques was invited to join the task force with with behavioral scientists created by the the Government to help communicate to the population in the context of COVID-19 pandemic.

The main objective of this Task Force is to provide evidence-based recommendations to the government on the predictors of and best strategies to promote adherence to COVID-19 protective behaviours by the public. Further, the task force will also advice on best practices for communicating COVID-19 restrictions and measures.

Marta Marques, researcher from CHRC, was invited as a specialist in health behaviour change see. "It was with great joy that I saw my work and achievements recognized by this invitation" said the CEDOC researcher.
Moreover, Marta Marques believes it is a great honour to be able to contribute to fight this major public health crisis that Portugal and the world are facing. Marta Marques finds motivation in being able to improve and make use of the current body of knowledge on how behavioral science can help in the fight against COVID-19.
