NOVA Science Day 2019

This year's edition will essentially be focused on the talents of NOVA, in particular on Researchers who have already been funded with grants from the European Research Council (ERC). The main goal of this meeting is to bring NOVA's scientific community together and is mainly aimed at Teachers, Researchers and Doctoral students of NOVA so that they can learn more about the research projects carried out at the University and the work produced by other PhD students.

The morning session will be dedicated to presentations of personalities in the ​​research and innovation fields, such as the President of the ERC, Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguinon and the Minister for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Professor Manuel Heitor.
During the afternoon, the session will be dedicated to the ERC scholarship holders and therefore, presentation of the research work of 5 of these fellows in different scientific áreas will be presented. During the afternoon session, a ceremony will also be held to honor the national ERC grantees who hold more than one ERC grant.

NOVA Science Day 2019 will occur on 18th September at NOVA Rectorate in Campolide, Lisbon.
