Claúdia Santos, Principal Investigator of the Molecular Nutrition and Health Group, was awarded the “Prémio Inovação” by Associação Nacional de Produtores de Mirtilo, during the 9th National Meeting of Blueberry Producers, as part of a study that links food to the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases and the specific study of Blueberry as one of the foods that potentially influences the prevention of these diseases.

This research combines scientific research with national agricultural production, thus contributing to the development of the relationship between academia, the business community and society in general.
