CEDOC Researcher’s oral communication in Basic Nephrology distinguished at the 2018 Renal Meeting

Clara Dias, researcher at the Translational Pharmacology Lab, received the distinction of best oral communication in Basic Nephrology, at the 2018 Renal Meeting, with the project “Cysteine disulfide stress is a common mechanism in kidney injury associated to metabolic inflammation models”.

The 2018 edition of the congress coordinated by Sociedade Portuguesa de Nefrologia took place at the Centro de Congressos de Vilamoura, from 22nd and 24th March. The Renal Meeting presented a vast scientific program, from clinical nephrology to dialysis and renal transplants, as well as epidemiology of chronic kidney disease and innovation in management of health care, in particular dialysis.
