CEDOC Results on the Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus

Four researchers were awarded contrats at CEDOC in the scope of the third edition of Individual Scientific Employment Stimulus (3ª edição do Concurso de Estímulo ao Emprego Científico (CEEC) Individual) from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.

The four CEDOC researchers are:
Helena Soares, group leader of the Human Immunobiology and Pathogenesis Lab (CHRC R&D Unit);
Marta Marques, will join EPIDOC Unit (CHRC R&D Unit) as a research assistant;
Pedro Antas, post-doctoral researcher from Molecular Mechanisms of Disease Lab (iNOVA4Health R&D Unit)
Rosalina Fonseca, group leader of the Cellular and Systems Neurobiology Lab (iNOVA4Health R&D Unit)

In total there were 300 contracts awarded to doctoral researches in all scientific areas, divided in four categories: 157 Junior Researchers, 114 Assistant Researchers, 27 Principal Researchers and 2 Coordinating Researchers.

The Individual Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus is aimed at PhD holders of any nationality or stateless with a background in any scientific area who wish to develop their scientific research or technological development activity in Portugal. These contracts are divided in four categories. Moreover, candidates were selected through an evaluation and classification process conducted by 25 international panels.
